Learn about the slowflower movement and get your bouquet from straight from the farm. During this morning on a little magical flower field, you'll learn about the seasonality of different flower varieties, which botanicals are native to the region, and get an insight into how to grow cut flowers sustainibly in nature's rythm.
This get away takes place directly on a 1200sqm flower field in Berlin-Pankow, hidden behind an old chapel in the midst of a cemetery. Surrounded by an adjacent forest, it offers an abundance of living creatures that are part of a natural ecosystem.
Your morning starts with an educational tour of the farm. There you'll learning about the current season's flowers, sustainable growing techniques and how to harvest. You are then invited to harvest your own floral arrangement, moving through flower fields and letting nature inspire your creativity. Take in the beauty and calm of the field and let time stand still for a while. The event concludes with a leisurely lunch served in the greenhouse where you can admire all the unique bouquets, browse through flower books and commune with fellow participants.
