Event Description

Entering a ‘whole new world’ in one of the most fascinating wine-growing areas in Germany? Wine not!

In this workshop by Wolkenberg, a recultivated open pit turned vineyard, you’ll discover the history of the region Brandenburg and its wine growing as well as the owner’s very special wine. You’ll visit the ‘Straußwirtschaft’ to put your taste buds to the test with a wine tasting of 3 different Wolkenberg wines – including one rarity that is grown on a mere 35 hectares here in Germany.

What to Expect

The tour lasts about an hour, after which there is a wine tasting
Say "Käse"

The wine tasting is accompanied by a cheese platter from local producers
Meeting point

Look for the little house with a big W at the foot of the vineyard and ask for Bettina :)
Sit Back and Enjoy

You will experience an eventful day with a delicious glass of wine and a spectacular view

About the Partner

Wolkenberg

The Wolkenberg winery is located in one of the sunniest regions in Germany, in Niederlausitz. Since the old open pit was recultivated to a vineyard, five types of white wines have been grown there: Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Kernling, Schönburger and Red Riesling. The oenologist Martin Schwarz ensures the optimal development of the Wolkenberg wines in his Meißner Weinmanufaktur, while Bettina Muthman and her team support the daily work in the vineyard.

Then follow the small road, between the trees, directly opposite, straight ahead until you reach another parking lot, which the entrance to the Wolkenberg Wine Farm
